Moving over to FTB Modpack (Feed the Beast)

I understand the server has been quiet, as we will be moving to FTB Modpack once it is released in the very near future. This Mod Pack is fully authorized by the mod makers, as well as far more in-depth than Tekkit. I've also not been streaming much due to my move, but that should finish shortly. Don't worry all, the server will be up and populated again soon.

We will be doing a week or two of beta testing once released so we can figure out what parts of the mod we are going to keep, and what we are going to remove to maintain balance on the server. Anyway, cya all soon.

ehm quick questions r we allowed to use world anchors on here if we dont "spam" them? (trust me i know what world anchors can do to a server)

Right now I do not want world anchors on the server. This is still an area of discussion, but I'll most likely disable them for the time being and delete any that are made after this point.

Yes, as if it were added it would make it a extremely laggy server. It wont happen sorry D:

Mystcraft books are disabled for the time being. This is another area that is under discussion, so we will let everyone know when we decide how were are going to deal with it.

Will the server update once TC3 gets added? (btw it Can world gen in an existing World so No need to restart the Map)

From what the FtB makers have said, maps should not need restart for updates. If that is actually true in practice, we shall see.

Yeah, Thaumcraft will NATURALLY generate things randomly in a Ready generated map.

the modpack we are using will be removed from the launcher, and we will need to switch either to magic pack, the tech pack, or the lite pack, as the ultimate pack wont be out for a while

Ahh I kept trying to connect to Tekkit. Plus it's been a while since I've been on. Hello all, again.

From what we have heard after talking with the FtB staff, there should be an update available for FtB that includes the current mods prior to the removal of the Beta-A pack which we are currently using.

I will keep you updated as we learn more, but at this point there appears to be nothing to worry about as far as wipes or major changes to the server go.

Don't seem to be whitelisted? Hmm, well if you remeber me (I'm sure Enigma or another one will) I'm RyanGaming108. Do I have to fill out another app or what? Please let me know.

Should be added now Ryan. People on the Tekkit server don't have to re-apply, though I do have them ask if they want back on. I didn't just copy paste the old whitelist since a lot of names on there don't play anymore.

We've now switched over to the MineCrack ModPack. All you need to do is install it and you are good to go.
